WEEKLY ROUTINE
*Clarify hair with Suave clarifying shampoo
* Apply Henna at 8 o'clock in the morning I use Body Art Quality Henna for African hair. The recipe that I use can be found at curlynikki.com I started out using a little lemon juice in addition to the other ingredients that were used  but realized that it was too drying for my hair and I now use the exact ingredients as they are shown in her video.
Henna for African Hair
*I leave the henna on my hair until about midnight.
* Rinse as much henna out with plain water.
*Then rinse with a cheap conditioner until all of the henna has been rinsed out of your hair
A lot of work I know but it is well worth the effort!
*Once the henna has been throughly rinsed out of my hair I apply Elasta QP DPR-11

*Cover hair with a plastic  and rinse in the morning!
Each of the items listed above are some of my favorite products and tools. At the bottom of the blog there's an extensive list of some of my likes and dislikes. I am trying not to become a product junkie. I really want to keep things simple.
